Deosai Tours - a baby is born
Assalam Aleykum,
Javed proudly presents:
DEOSAI TOURS - the baby is born!!!
Or: how a Pakistani Company gets its name.
Thanks a lot for your feedbacks. Javed and me did some counting and wrote the winning 6 on the application form. . (U Travel, Deosai Tours, Javed’s Pakistan, Pakistani Dreams, Lost River Tours, Insight on Pakistan) That’s requested here, because it can happen, that the responsible civil servant has some objections. Javed’s man fell in Love with the 2nd winner – because he himself was from this area, so the baby is called Deosai Tours now, the civil servant will be on its side forever, which might be a very good sign.
Javed is running around in a hurry, filling all applications, buying all requested things. In the meantime we write some itineraries – with his yearlong knowledge and some „European tips for more creativity“ - I guess we found some nice ones. Here you can mostly book the usual trips, Deosai Tours will pep it up a little I hope with a lot of authenticity
After 2 nights of work the webpage content is almost done, the web designer has to find a nice way of presentation, but that’s it. Soon there will be www.deosaitours.com – Javed’s window to the world of tourism. Many of his previous customers are eager to book with him, they know his way is very different to all the other tour operators; they leave their old travel agency which they only worked with because Javed was there. He is a little hesitant to “steal his teacher’s clients” – but he doesn’t do it in an active way – they just come and say: please, I want to book with you now!
His way of interacting with people – from client to colleague, waiters, hotel managers and luggage boys is a unique one which makes your heart warm and smiling.
So if you intend to come to Pakistan – you know now, who is the best.
I am currently already in Chitral/Birir working at my school project, but am a little late with journals because I find few time to sit an write – even offline.
My days are filled with teas, teachings, supervising the construction of school building, tea, talking with friends, tea, organising material for the school, tea, learning Urdu, tea, learning Kalashamun, tea, some local fire water with makes my stomach talking, tea, talking, tea, talking, tea….
A more detailed report will follow, but I don’t know when.
All the best in the meantime, give me your news and what is going on in the world – here is no TV, no phone only some line once a week for 5 minutes of sending/receiving mails.
So all info and stories are most welcome in this remote and peaceful part of the world!!!
